Social Skills Outings

TBD

Fayetteville, Arkansas

Is your child in need of

social skills outings?

We are hosting a 3-session meal event.

The first session will be nutrition education, meal planning, and grocery list development in a small group setting. Peers will work together to compromise on a menu and will work with an occupational therapist and speech therapist to make a solid grocery list and prepare for a grocery shopping outing in the real world. The next session will be at the grocery store, making sure that we have everything we need to prepare a developmentally appropriate, nutritious meal for the peer group. The final session will be a hands-on kitchen safety, cleanliness, and cooking activity to prepare the purchased food and make the planned menu come to life. Each session is estimated to be approximately 90 minutes.

This is a cash pay event. Please contact us for further details. Dates to be determined.
